Schopper Abrasion Tester Applications
Schopper abrasiontester is commonly used for abrasion resistance of carpet and automobile interior
materials and the recommended test method of many automotive standards such as
GME Standard 60345, GMW Standard 3283, VW/Audi Zentral-Norm PV 3908. It gives
pressure along tangential direction to rotating samples and evaluates abrasion
resistance by way of quality loss or wearing holes.
