Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester Applications
Martindale abrasion and pilling tester is applied to determine the abrasion and pilling resistance of all kinds of textile materials and considered a must-have tester in garments industry. Samples are rubbed against specified abrasive under certain pressure in continuously changing directions; the amount of abrasion or pilling is compared against standard parameters. Through replacing dowel pin under the cover, it can achieve three motion curves such as Great Lissajous, Small Lissajous and linear reciprocating to meet different standards.
